system audit
System auditing involves the assessment of
existing systems or system components in operation.
For existing systems, an external and
professionally independent view by a third-party consulting firm may have a
special role in identifying malfunctioning parts of a system. Our independence
and professional integrity are the guarantees of giving an objective and
unbiased assessment of any system independently of any events in the past . As
an alternative to impartial observers, in-house operators – “blinded” by their
operational experience – may be prevented from giving an unbiased and full view
on system performance.
Other than plain assessment, an audit report may
include recommendations and proposed solutions for certain areas as well. In
addition to an all-out evaluation of the operating system, a system audit also
involves personal interviews with the operators to identify inherent errors and
incorrect automatisms.
Based on the projects we have been involved with
to date, we are confident that performing an impartial review of any system from
time to time is a necessity, and its findings should effectively contribute to a
business’ successful adapting to the constantly changing economic environment. |
